Biography

Sergi Lois Alcázar. Born in Barcelona in 1981 Head of the Projects and Works Service of the Barcelona Provincial Council, he manages and coordinates the transformation of the Provincial Council's buildings and premises, promoting the implementation of the SDGs and the corporation's new work models. Architect and holder of a master’s degree in Integrated Architecture Projects, he has worked for 10 years in the private sector and for 7 in the Spo

The Mundet complex is on the southern side of Collserola. At the top of the hill is the Pabellón Norte, which offers a residential and care service for dependent persons. The building has been in use since 1957 and needs an overall upgrade to adapt it to current care needs and transform it into an efficient, sustainable and decarbonised building. The renovation is part of Barcelona Provincial Council's Climate Plan, which aims to achieve climate neutrality by 2030 in most of its buildings and facilities.
