Biography

Specialist in Public Policy and Sustainable Urban Development. President of OnCities2030 and Director of the Institute for Urban Journalism. She led the New Urban Agenda process as Overall Coordinator of the UN Conference on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development (Habitat III). She was also the Coordinator of the UN-Habitat World Urban Forum from 2012 to 2018.

The platform offers an inter-sectoral look at the different scales of the reality of housing and opens up opportunities to promote public-private partnerships.

Developed by the 300,000 Km/s consultancy firm for the UIA 2022 International Forum - Affordable Housing Activation: Removing Barriers - it’s now amplifying its potential with data from Mitma initiatives and statistics, including the Housing and Land Observatory, the State Rental Price Reference System and the Urban Areas atlases.

It collects data from official sources and others that have been dispersed and non-standardised until now, allowing them to be crossed and visualised on the basis of the six barriers to access to decent, adequate and affordable housing:

- Misalignments of policies and regulations

- Financing of urban design and development

- Promotion and production

- Prosperity and trend
